FR Indians Fans,
How many of you have been touched by or know someone who has been touched by breast cancer? Almost all of us have or know someone who has! Once again this year, the Fort Recovery High School cheerleaders will be sponsoring a “Pink Out” football game in honor of those who have been touched by breast cancer. The “Pink Out” game will be at the home varsity football game on FRIDAY, OCTOBER 18 against Minster.
The attached order form (below) includes short sleeve and long sleeve t-shirts that we would like to see everyone wearing at the home varsity football game on OCTOBER 18. We are dedicating that game to those who have fought, are fighting and will continue to fight against breast cancer, and especially to those who have battled the disease with strength and courage.
The FRHS cheerleaders will be DONATING 100% of the proceeds from the t-shirt sales to the Susan G.Komen “For the Cure” foundation, as well as other local breast cancer support groups.
The t-shirts will be pink this year and will be printed on the front AND back of the shirt, featuring a football player in a purple jersey and the ever-famous pink ribbon. The design is in the upper right-hand corner of this blog post.
Please have your order form returned to your student’s teacher, and they will be sure to get the order forms and money over to Amanda Everman at the high school. All checks should be made out to Fort Recovery Schools.
ALL FORMS AND MONEY ARE DUE NO LATER THAN THURSDAY, OCTOBER 3, 2013!
Thank you so much for your support!
