The second semester has finally arrived, and students in Studio Art classes are working on realistic house drawing using the mathematical grid-drawing format. Check out how some of the students are coming along!
Students...don't forget, you're E-Days are due next Tuesday and Wednesday. We don't have school Monday, so don't wait until the last minute. You can find the E-Day lessons for art class under the tab titled, "E-Day" on this website.
Be sure to check the school's webpage, www.fortrecoveryschools.org to find your E-Day lessons for other classes. Click on "Parents and Students," then find the E-Day portal on the right-hand side of the page. As always, make sure you keep in contact with your teachers regarding these assignments. If you have questions about art lessons, email Mrs. Sudhoff or contact her via the class Twitter account, @FRHSArt Have a great weekend. I won't see you tomorrow as I'm heading to a state softball coaches clinic. Stay safe this weekend...and let's E-Day number three will be tomorrow, Wednesday, January 8. The lessons for all three e-days can be found in the E-Day tab of our website.
Semester exam information and study guides will be posted later this evening or by tomorrow early afternoon. STUDIO ART & PAINTING STUDENTS: MAKE SURE YOU LET ME KNOW WHAT YOUR PIECE OF ARTWORK IS THAT YOU ARE COMPLETING THE WORKSHEET FOR. Try to attach a picture with your worksheet, or at least let me know the artist and title! YEARBOOK STUDENTS: Be thinking about what you're going to add to your winter sports pages, as well as your class and club pages. If you aren't able to access the website, start coming up with questions and module ideas for your winter pages. Nothing is due for today's E-Day, but we will be cracking down on our winter pages once school resumes. EVERYONE will be expected to work on pages starting the first day we're back in class. IF YOU HAVE QUESTIONS, PLEASE EMAIL ME OR USE TWITT Hopefully you're all working on your e-day assignments. I know you're all ready to get out of the house, and are possibly wishing we were at school and not working on homework from home. ALL THREE E-DAY LESSONS are posted in the E-Day tab of this page.
There have been a few changes made to the yearbook e-day assignments (please see below): YEARBOOK STAFF ONLY: Be thinking about what you're going to add to your winter sports pages, as well as your class and club pages. If you aren't able to access the website, start coming up with questions and module ideas for your winter pages. Nothing is due for today's E-Day, but we will be cracking down on our winter pages once school resumes. EVERYONE will be expected to work on pages starting the first day we're back in class. For Studio Art and Painting students, make sure you are choosing a piece of artwork to complete your worksheet with. It would be nice if I could see a picture of the piece, but if you give me the artist and title, that would work as well. As always, please let me know if you need help or have questions! @FRHSArt With winter weather upon us, please check out the E-Day tab on this website.
Our first E-Day will be tomorrow, Monday, January 6, 2014. Fort Recovery Schools are closed and will be using our first E-Day. The lessons for tomorrow will be due on Tuesday, January 21, 2014. Students and parents, please use email or Twitter (@FRHSArt) to communicate with Mrs. Sudhoff should you have questions tomorrow regarding the E-Day lessons. Stay safe out there Indian Nation...and try to keep warm! |
